Hair styles can and often do change as we age. Many of us end up with a short, easy to care for hair style when we get older. The hair style change may even start as soon we have children. I learned in the past that when the babies started to grab at my longer locks it was not always a pleasant experience.

I have noticed that hair styles not only change for fashion reasons. I have seen some women change their hair style for a certain job or a career position. Many athletes will go for a shorter cut because it makes it easier to participate in their sport that way. 

There are those of us who simply refuse to give in to the age factor. Personally, I like longer hair and have allowed my own to grow out recently. Now, as I am approaching the liberating fifty year mark I feel comfortable with my hair style. My biggest concern at this stage of the game is being a step ahead of the grey! Do you know what I mean!?
